Sheer tallit fabric has the lightest and most delicate appearance. Silk tallit has an elegant, semi-sheer look and is often chosen for artistic and feminine tallit designs. How do I choose the right tallit size?

The right tallit size depends on the person’s height, age, body frame, and how they prefer to wear the tallit. Some people prefer a smaller shawl-style tallit worn around the shoulders, while others prefer a larger traditional size with more coverage. For Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah tallitot, it is usually best to choose a size that feels comfortable now while still being suitable for future use. See our Tallit Size Guidelines for specific details.

We generally ship orders within one to two business days from the time we receive the order. Custom items, personalized embroidery, or special-size orders may require additional preparation time.

How long does delivery take?

We offer two main shipping options:

Economy Post: delivery usually takes up to 3–4 weeks.
Express Shipping: delivery usually takes 3–5 business days.

Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, customs processing, holidays, and local postal or courier delays.

Is it possible to order an item in a different size from the standard size?

Yes. If you need a tallit or silk item in a different size, please send us an email with your requirements. We will reply with the price and details for the custom-size item.

How do you clean silk items?

Hand-painted Galilee Silks silk items may be gently hand washed separately in delicate hand-washing soap. After washing, they should be gently ironed according to the care instructions so they can look beautiful again.

How do you recommend cleaning wool items?

We strongly recommend dry cleaning wool items. Do not iron directly over satin ribbons, as they may shrink and create wrinkles around the ribbon area.

How can I track my order?

After your order ships, we send you the package details, tracking number, and a link to the carrier’s tracking page so you can follow the delivery progress.

How soon should I order a tallit before a Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah?

We recommend ordering your Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah tallit as early as possible, especially if you would like name embroidery, a custom size, or a special design. Ordering in advance gives enough time for personalization, production, delivery, and any possible customs or courier delays.

For a personalized tallit, or custom tallit, we recommend allowing at least 3–4 weeks before the event whenever possible. However, we also offer Express Shipping, with delivery usually within 3–5 business days.
